'Afternoon Tea' & Boho Backgrounds


Yeah! the sun is out today ... even though it is freezing here in Melbourne, the sun just makes you feel warmer. I had a go at making a pocket/slider card last night using a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers (thankyou). It was really quick and simple to do, and I will be making another one for a birthday party this weekend that my boys are going to.

Stamps: Boho background & Occasional Greetings
Card Stock: Whisper White, Close to Cocoa, Soft Sky & 'Afternoon Tea' DSP
Inks: Groovy Guava, Soft Sky & Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Circle scollap punch, circl 1" punch, circle 1 3/8" punch, tab punch & Chocolate grosgrain ribbon

Friendship Blooms

I find I have a bit of a creative block when it comes to purple/pink. Not my colours at all! Anyhow, this is card and (yes, another) box set for my sons teacher, whose birthday is tomorrow.

DS Paper & Classic Stars Wheel

I am sorry that I haven't had a chance to do any creations in the last couple of days, so I am posting a card that I made a while ago. Having 2 boys of my own, I tend to create for boys rather than girls.

Card Stock: Whisper White & 'Spring Break' DS paper
Ink: Blue Bayou & Soft Sky
Punches: Lrge Oval & Round Scollap
Accessories: Wide 'Old Olive' grosgrain ribbon & Soft Sky double stitch ribbon

Another wonderful colour challenge from Kristina Werner:

I love this colour combo!

And this was a really quick and easy card to do.

Although you can't really see it, I have used stickles on all the dots from the wheel to give it a bit of bling ...

My niece Mackenzie, has been staying with me for a couple of days. I had some cards to do and she was instantly attracted to a seat beside me, and asking if she could make something .... & I have two boys, who are totally not interested in what I do, so it was very pleasant.
This is a card she did for a party that she will be going to on Saturday.

What a challenge! I eventually used a color scheme from a card that I had made earlier in the week...

Hi ... This is my first card from my new desk (which by the way is great !! ). I haven't finished moving in yet...
