Season of Joy

I know, I know ... I have been very slack blogging lately ... but the truth is, I haven't been doing much creating lately either. Anyway, I made this christmas card last night. It is a double fold card from Michelle Giraud. A very talented lady, if you get the chance you should check out some of her work. Beautiful!

Stamps: Season of Joy, so swirly jumbo wheel
Card Stock: Very vanilla, dashing DS paper, real red & river rock
Ink: Old olive, real red & river rock
Accessories: Spiral punch, sponge dauber & slit punch

I don't know if you can tell but I have used the slit punch for the christmas tree to slide into, but it doesn't really close properly. Michelle used a ribbon to tie around hers.

Happy Birthday Craig!

I found this tutorial on Scor Pal gallery/tutorial. It was really easy, and I think very effective. The possibilities are endless. Even my husband thought it was a bit snazzy!

Card Stock: Kraft, chocolate chip, very vanilla & river rock
Ink: Chocolate chip, river rock and close to cocoa
Accessories: '40' chipboard (not SU!), sponge dauber

K Werner CIC #18

Wow! This was a 'challenge'. The colors are fantastic:

Basic black, pumpkin pie, rose red & gable green/summer sun (one or the other of these last 2)

Stamps: Office accoutrement, boho backgrounds & baroque wheel
Card stock: Gable green, basic black, pumpkin pie & rose red
Ink: Basic black

As you can see from the photo, it is very retro ... and all I can say is that I tried (lol!)
