From Disneyland

Hello all

Well we have spent 3 days at Disneyland/California Adventure Park and we have had a ball (except for 'space mountain', AAAAHHHH!!!), all the rides have been great. Thursday was not too busy and we were able to get most of the major rides done. Friday the queues were a little longer, but the boys were great! and were happy to stand in line for about 40 min.

Main Street Disneyland

Liam after the first day at Disneyland ...

We tried to get as many photos with the disney character as possible. I am sure you will recognise most of them ...

... tomorrow we are on our way to San Diego ....see ya

From Anaheim

Hi everyone

Well, we had a great flight over from oz (not too much sleep though), and we were through customs in like 1/2 hour (fantastic for LA). Here is a photo of Liam in his seat ...

He had his own little TV screen with his own programs that ran for the entire flight. Needless to say he was a very happy little camper .... and because of the lack of sleep here is a picture later that day in the hotel ....

The weather is great, really warm and sunny and so we are swimming in the pool every day. Here is Calum & Dad ....

We are having a great time and I will do another post later today .... talk again soon ...

I am still going to post some holiday snaps for family and friends to see ...
Anyway ... here is the card

I have used an unusual colour combo, which I cased from the catalogue as well.

Card: Very vanilla & kraft

Ink: Blue bayou, purely pomegranate, more mustard & old olive

TECC34

Woo Hoo! I found a cupcake stamp so I could play in Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge. You don't really need to use cupcakes, but it is fun ...

I really enjoyed this challenge, and am very happy with how the card has turned out. I love paper piecing (the cupcake), and will have to get some more stamps that I can use for this (he! he!).

Stamps: SU! Birthday Best
Card: Kraft, chocolate chip & soft sky
Paper: SU! DS 'Notebook'
Ink: Chocolate chip
Accessories: Chocolate polytwill ribbon, hemp twine, 1 3/8" circle punch, 1/2" circle punch, paper snips

Makeesha's Cased Sketch Challenge

Ok this was really weird because I don't actually case many cards from the catalogue (in fact none!) except this one. So for Makeesha's Cased Sketch challenge I will show both cards that I have done ....

I am not really happy with these colors, but I did like the way the card turned out. I used my SU! color coach and chose barely banana, perfect plum and gable green. The stamps I used were bold butterfly, short & sweet and flitting by wheel.

... and this is the card that I cased a while ago. You can see all the details of this card here.
