Curtain Call CC Act 26

Hey everyone,

Ok, having a few issues with loading pictures on my blog, so I will update soon with Stacey's fabulous inspiration photo.   In the mean time, if you would like to play along go HERE.

My inspiration for this weeks card is my little mans' 6th birthday.  These were such great colours for a boy card.  Loved them!

Stamps:  Star prints (PTI), Big & bold wishes (PTI), Birthday basics, Fancy flourishes (PTI)
Card:  Goind gray, basic gray, whisper white and summer sun
Ink:  Summer sun, going gray and basic gray
Accessories:  CM circle template, lrge and sml star punch, silver brads, 1/4" cirle punch

Happy Birthday Rylee!

Long story short ... left it to the last minute to make a card for Sue's baby girl, Rylee (7), and didn't have time to take a photo before I had to give it to her, so Sue kindly took a photo and emailed it to me.  Thanks Sue!

The colours I used were for Stacey's Curtain Call CC.  WOW! bright to say the least! and yes, I have used the same stamp set from last week LOL!







Stamps:  Blooming button bits (PTI), Polka dot basics (PTI), Birthday basics (PTI), Turning a new leaf (PTI)
Card:  Pixie pink, whisper white, yo yo yellow, bitty dot basics (PTI - lemon tart, summer sunrise and sweet blush)
Ink:  Green garlore, yo ho yellow, only orange, pixie pink (+marker for the sentiment)
Accessories:  dimensionals, paper snips, crytal efftects and dazzling diamonds

Last minute birthday ...

Yesterday (Friday), I received a text asking if we were going to RSVP to a birthday party for tomorrow.  So, I ask my gorgeous 5 year old if he received and invite before school ended 2 weeks ago.

Liam:  Yes mum ... it's in my blue foler

The party was the next day.  Here were my instructions:

Liam:  It has to be green with crocodiles mum, Gus loves green and a cave with crocodiles.

CAARDvarks Challenge

I started making this card for the CAARDvarks Challenge - Babies, when I received an email from a friend requesting a baby boy card (how convenient LOL!), so I have personalised the inside.  I have also used my new nestabilities...




You can't see in the photo, but I actually cut the nestabilities out of the top 2 layers.

Card:  Whisper white, bashful blue, spring rain DP
Ink:  Bashful blue, not quite navy
Accessories:  Nestabilities, big shot, jute twine, vintage buttons

Curtain Call CC Act 24

Two for {one}

Here is my card for the Embellish Challenge - Stitching.  For this one, I had a play around with doing some faux clouds using a scallop circle and a sponge.
