Welcome Baby

I was asked to make a 'baby shower' card a couple of weeks ago. After surfing a few blogs for some ideas I came up with this .....
The original idea for this (I think) came from Lauren Meader. And then I found a newer model that came from Alisa Tilsner. I used both these ideas, and of course came up with my own version. This was my first attempt, and therefore there are a few things wrong with it (crooked ribbon, you can see the glue dots under the ribbon ...LOL!)
Stamps: Season of joy, short and sweet
Card: Pretty in pink, regal rose
Ink: Regal rose, pretty in pink, craft white and rose red (+marker)
Accessories: Pink satin ribbon, large oval punch, 1 3/6 circle punch, scallop punch, pretty in pink brads, whole piercer, fiskars 'threading water' punch

Stamps: Crazy for cupcakes & big deal alphabet
Card: Wild wasabi, pumpkin pie & whisper white
Ink: Pumpkin pie, real red, bashful blue & wild wasabi (& markers)
Accessories: Wild wasabi striped ribbon, spiral punch & slot punch

K Werner CIC #34

When I saw Kristina's latest challenge, I knew I had to pull out my crochet hook and try something different. My addiction before 'all things paper' was knitting (and a little bit of crocheting). It never crossed my mind to combine the two, but here is the result. Not sure if I am happy with it, and I may have to try again, but I will post this one anyway.

The colours this week: Pale plum, perfrect plum, bordering blue, sage shadow & certainly celery (and any neutral ...)

This is just a quick post tonight. I will try to get a better photo tomorrow.

Santa treats

I decided to do the same lolly-pop treats that I did for Halloween, but with Santa instead. I first found, this template on Jayne Mercer's blog, who found it on this SCS site.

I have quite a few more to make before school finishes. I haven't used any stamping for these. They are just all various punches.

Card: Whisper white, old olive, real red & blush blossom
Ink: Basic black & blush blossom marker
Punches: 1 3/8" circle punch, scallop punch, 1/2" circle punch, 5-petal flower punch, boho flower punch, marvy scallop punch (pink)

KWerner CIC #33

This colour challenge did not come easily. Even though I love all of these colours, I would never have put them together. BUT, I have finally had a chance to use one of my new stamp sets from our summer mini, and I used some rub-ons as well (they are one of things that you 'must have', but never use much! Not anymore! LOL!).

Colours: Chocolate chip, pumpkin pie, certainly celery, taken with teal & whisper white

Stamps: Eastern blooms
Card: Chocolate chip, certainly celery & whisper white
Paper: Bali breeze DSP
Ink: Chocolate chip & pumpkin pie
Accessories: Hidden Garden Rub-ons & paper snips, scollap edge punch

All products used are Stampin Up!
