Jane's Doodles - thanks

Hello.

I am sharing a card for Jane's Doodles today, and I know you will be shocked because I have only used one stamp set...

Jungle Baby

This was a hard card to photograph, so I apologise for the crappy photo but I wanted the 'thanks' to stand out a bit. 

 I have masked top and bottom then stamped in a rainbow effect.  After die cutting several layers and gluing them together, I stuck them on and stamped on them as well.  Lining up with the original stamp.

Hey Everyone

Today I created a card just for fun (haven't done that in ages).  I came across a new challenge blog called 'Virginia's View' by the amazingly talented Virginia Lu.  I had to laugh when she was only expecting around 20 submissions when currently it is up to 245!  wow!  But seriously, why didn't someone tell me sooner how much fun, and what amazing results you can get from a watercolour technique.  I have certainly seen other crafters accomplish awesome designs with this technique, but never had the urge to give it a go myself.  Well let me tell you, I am hooked, so be prepared to be inundated with designs using this technique!  Love it!

Jane's Doodles - I thought of you today

Hey Everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend.  Have you noticed that pastels are very in at the moment (even though we are headed into autumn here is Oz) I know most of you will be looking forward to warm spring breezes and sunshine.  I had to scrounge through my inks to find all the colours I needed for my tag today (I even had to double stamp to get the pastel look LOL!)...

 

I have used versamark on vellum and embossed with black, then cut the butterfly out.  I have also coloured my twine with copics.

I have used the Butterflies and Daffodils sets from Jane's Doodles.
