For my card this week, I couldn't resist using some goodies that I received recently form the SHOP.  From the inpiration photo, I have used the colour scheme, the butterflies and twine.

Stamps:  Large plaid pattern (Hero Arts), Butterfly dreams (PTI), Signature Greetings (PTI), Baby button bits (PTI)

Ink:  Chocolate chip, crumb cake, always artichoke

Card:  Kraft, vintage cream, always artichoke

Accessories:  Rhinestones (coloured with copics), twine, vintage buttons, MFT border die, 2 x butterfly die (PTI)

Happy Birthday ...

Hiya,  hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.   This week I received my very first copics (yay!), and so yesterday we organised a little get together for some colouring practice.  Sue (My Inner Reflection...) and Iwona (Random Acts of Creativity) were my colouring buddies for the day, and we had a blast ... thanks girls!

Embellish Colour Challenge - Squares

This weekend has turned out very wet and rainy, PERFECT for sitting in my studio crafting.  I thought I would catch up on some challenges.  This card is for the Embellish Colour Challenge, and you had to use squares...

My card is actually a lot brighter IRL, but because of the weather, it seems really washed out.  I will try to get a better picture for you all later.

Happy Birthday Darcy (finally !!)

So Darcy's birthday was last month, but I am only just making her card now.  Her Mum is the very talented Sue over and 'My Inner Reflecttion', so I have to make something special.  This card has the same layout as my previous post, but I was inpired by  the fabulous Maile Belle, for the die cut with the buttons behind.

I couldn't work out which photo I liked best, so I used both of them.

This is also my challenge card for 'Everything but the kitchen sink'.

Yes, that's right, my nephews birthday yesterday and my neices birthday today.  Mackenzie is the one in the middle wearing pink.  Sorry, but this is quite an old photo, but the only one I have.

Embellish Challenge with Butterflies

It's time for another 'Embellish Challenge'.  The colours are kraft, green (kiwi kiss) and black, and include butterflies in your design.  I found these colours really nice to work with, and loved the way this card turned out.  If you would like to play along, go HERE.
