Poppy Seed Challenge 2

My sister had an operation yesterday, so I thought I would use Lisa's challenge to make a card for her ...  If you would like to play along go HERE.

Under Pressure

Talk about under pressure LOL! Have you visited Nichole's blog? It is PTI's 3rd anniversary this month and they are celebrating in a BIG way. There are new products being introduced, challenges, and best of all LOTS of prizes to be won! Woohoo!

Here is my card for the 'colour by numbers' challenge along with the colour palette that I had to use. I didn't have all the colours, but fortunately my PTI order arrived yesterday with lots of new goodies to play with ... I was sooo happy when one of my colour choices was kraft! LOL!

It is soooo HOT here today (44*C - 111 *F). Apparently this heat will continue for a few more days yet ... anyway, I managed to find some time to play along with 2 challenges today. The first one is Stacey's 'Curtain Call Act 12' , and the also with Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge:

Embellish Challenge - Owls

One of my favourite PTI stamps is 'Wise Owl'. I use it a lot! So when 'Embellish Magazine' put up their latest challenge I was all set, sort of LOL! I had just used it to make my sister's birthday card (which I will post later). BUT when I sat down to to the card, nothing came to me. Here is my 'clean & simple' card:

Polka Dot Paradise Colour Challenge

I have been following Ashley Newell's blog for some time. She is an amazing artist. This colour challenge is from her new online magazine called 'Embellish'. Check it out HERE and Ashley's personal blog HERE.

This is my third attempt to do this challenge, and even though these are not traditionally 'christmas colours', I thought it turned out ok. I think I will put this in for the 'Moxie Fab Challenge' as well.
