Easter Giftls

Here are some easter treats that I made for my boys' teachers.  I started out making little baskets, but left it too late and needed something quick and easy.   I remembered some halloween treats using envelopes and glassine bags on Nichole's blog HERE.  Let me tell you, these were very easy and super quick!

Stamps:  Wise owl (PTI), Mixed mega messages (PTI)

Ink:  Ridinghood red, baja breeze

Accessories:  Kraft envelopes (PTI), Striped grosgrain ribbon, vintage buttons, lrge oval punch, scallop oval punch, twine

Embellish Challenge - Owls

One of my favourite PTI stamps is 'Wise Owl'. I use it a lot! So when 'Embellish Magazine' put up their latest challenge I was all set, sort of LOL! I had just used it to make my sister's birthday card (which I will post later). BUT when I sat down to to the card, nothing came to me. Here is my 'clean & simple' card:

Stamps: Wise owl (PTI), Polka dot basics II (PTI), Cheap talk (SU!)

Card: Whisper white and chocolate chip

Ink: Certainly celery (+marker), cameo coral (+marker), chocolate chip (+marker)

Accessories: Paper snips, dimensionals, CM corner rounder

Sorry, no cupcakes today. Just another owl. Not sure about this card??? I love the stamp set, I love the paper & the colour combo. Just not happy with the way it turned out (never mind, I am posting it anyway LOL!).

I was on a bit of a roll last night, even though we are in the middle of a heat wave here in Melbourne, and last night we experienced our first power blackout between 1830-2030. But I didn't have huge plans for today (just relaxing - because it is still HOT!), I was able to stay up a bit later (1 am).

Anyway, back to business. Here is my second card for Makeesha's sketch challenge (scroll down for my previous one). As you can tell, this is my 'boy' card.
