JayGee's Nook Challenge 4

I can't believe it's the last weekend in January already, but you know what that means, it's challenge time.  Judith has done it again with another inpiration photo collage that I'm sure you won't be able to miss playing along with. For my card this week, I couldn't resist using some goodies that I received recently form the SHOP.  From the inpiration photo, I have used the colour scheme, the butterflies and twine.

Stamps:  Large plaid pattern (Hero Arts), Butterfly dreams (PTI), Signature Greetings (PTI), Baby button bits (PTI)

Ink:  Chocolate chip, crumb cake, always artichoke

Card:  Kraft, vintage cream, always artichoke

Accessories:  Rhinestones (coloured with copics), twine, vintage buttons, MFT border die, 2 x butterfly die (PTI)

JayGee's Nook DT

Hi Everyone and welsome back for another week with JayGee's Nook DT.  This week I am using serveral products that you can purchase from the SHOP.  And don't forget to enter our challenge HERE, for a fabbo prize!

Onto my card ....I needed a couple of birthday cards this week and so I mixed and matched a few different sets.  But first, let me just say that the gingham paper from A Muse is definitely a must have in anyones stash.  LOVE IT! Here I have only used the lemon, but it comes in lots of other gorgeous colours.  The sentiment is from a Pure Innocence set called 'Presents for you' (A christmas set by the way).  And again I have used Lawn Fawn's 'Judy's Blooms'.

For this week's card I used the layout from Clean & Simple FTL124.

Card:  Lemon gingham (A Muse), select white, daffodil delight, whisper white

Ink:  Deffodil delight, true black

Accessoreis:  Daffodil delight satin ribbon, circle and scallop circle nesties, mat stack 2 (PTI), large scallop border punch, yellow brad with stickles

JayGee's Nook DT

Hi and welcome to our first JayGee's Nook DT post for 2011.  I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a happy and healthy New Year! and hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Ok, back to this weeks card.  I have used a gorgeous set by Practicing Creativity called 'Look up Addithons'.  After colouring the balloons with my copics, I then covered them with crystal effects (this seems to intensify the colour).
